Jobs for Nature Profile: Transforming Taranaki

LDCT was lucky enough to receive funding from the 'jobs for nature' programme created from the Covid-19 government relief.

To understand how this helps communities create jobs and healthier environments, watch how 'jobs for nature' is being used in Taranaki. One million native plants have been distributed to Taranaki farmers this year through Taranaki Regional Council’s long-running Riparian Management Programme, thanks to a $5 million boost in Jobs for Nature funding from Ministry for the Environment.
