Listen to Megan from Lake Dunstan Charitable Trust (LDCT) chat with Henry on Radio Central about what's going on this month with Lake Dunstan and the Kawarau Arm. We talk about how the investigation into a weed harvester is going, what's going on with the driftwood and our restoration project we have planned.
Megan will be on the radio the third Thursday of each month at 8:40am so make sure you tune in! Day 1 of Contact Energy's four week project to remove driftwood from the Kawarau Arm. Great to see them doing more to care for the visual amenity of the area. Its a massive project and very complicated but their great staff will work tirelessly for the next month to improve the look and safety of the Kawarau Arm.

Today we caught up with our Architects, Rough & Milne, to see how our restoration project is progressing.
Was amazing to see some of their ideas for the shoreline and start putting the ideas in our heads onto paper. Their share our visions for the area and have come up with some great designs to improve the biodiversity and recreational amenities of the lake. Cant wait to share the final plans with you soon! Was great to get up to speed with last year's weed management review and be involved in the next year's plan of controlling the weeds.
