A massive thank you to ITM Cromwell for their donation of $3,000 of tools for the Cromwell Community Tool Shed our trust is currently working hard to fill to the brim!

In October 2021 we successfully received a grant for $8,580 from the CODC Cromwell Community Board to purchase a container and internal storage for a community tool shed. We are now busy securing permits and funding/donations of tools with the plan of unveiling a fully stocked container in the near future.

We learnt about the importance of their work, the highs and lows of such a project and how they are tackling weeds, pests and restoration with the help of the local community and volunteers.

Ripple Effect: Dryland Ecosystems & Lizard Life

Thank you to all who attended the launch of our event, Ripple Effect, Burger Afloat for feeding us all, Lake Dunstan Boat Club for letting us use their newly renovated building and an extra big thank you to the amazing Anna Yeoman for presenting.
We were delighted to see so many people taking the time to learn about dryland ecosystems and lizard life. It was fascinating to explore how the area used to look, why we have lost so much of the original local habitat and how we can all do our bit to protect and improve lizard populations in the region and our own gardens.
