Volunteer Supervisor:
Join the lake Dunstan Charitable Trust as we embark on an exciting 6-week pilot program in collaboration with Corrections! We’re seeking a Volunteer Supervisor to play a key role in our Bridge to Bridge restoration project. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to community rehabilitation and environmental conservation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Take a register of workers involved in the program, ensuring all participants sign in and out. Regularly report attendance back to Corrections.
  • Brief the workers on maintenance tasks along the lakeside, providing clear and effective guidance.
  • Responsible for transporting green waste to the recycling centre. Access to a cage trailer is highly desirable for this task.

Ideal Volunteer:
  • Able to commit 6 x hours week.
  • Committed to community service and environmental care.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to manage and supervise a team effectively.
  • Access to a cage trailer for waste transportation (preferred).

This role is perfect for someone looking to make a real difference in their community and the environment. You will be at the forefront of a program that offers a second chance to individuals on community service, helping them give back to society in a meaningful way.
