First of many: Meeting our Architects Rough & Milne

Yesterday we met with our newly appointed Landscape architects, Rough and Milne, to sketch out the first phase of our landscape restoration project. 

 The funding we received from LINZ will be used to create a shoreline the community can be proud of. The vision is to increase native planting around the lake, to allow for an increase in future biodiversity, and to create improved public spaces that promote exploration, learning and recreation.

A big thank you to Bike It Now for lending us bikes to explore the shore with our amazing and passionate architects. Together we have many amazing ideas for the restoration project and are now working on a formal plan that will be the catalyst for change.
